The Last Mice on Kickstarter!

I just received an email informing me that The Last Mice has been accepted by Kickstarter.com.  In 20 days, I’m asking for $2500 in pledges to fund the first chapter of this series. Check out my Kickstarter preview page for more details, watch my video and leave comments. The project will not go live until my Amazon business account is verified… which should take another week. Max the Mouse Motion Capture

In today’s short video clip, I show a side by side comparison as I animate Max the Mouse using only my face and an XBox Kinect camera.  I didn’t spend any time cleaning this animation up in 3d Studio Max, as you can see with the jittery eye movements and some of the lip sync isn’t as accurate as it should be.  Once I can upgrade my camera, I can spend less time cleaning animation up and more time just being creative and having fun bringing characters to life.
